Jamul Indian Village of California is one of 12 federally recognized tribes in the Kumeyaay Nation of Southern California. The Jamul Indian Village of California is one of 12 federally recognized tribes that make up the Kumeyaay Nation of Southern California. Jamul intends to support the program’s goals by applying as an applicant with a plan to create housing and critical housing infrastructure that will bring Tribal members home. S. government says a California federal judge acted properly in dismissing with prejudice a lawsuit over the alleged disinterment of Jamul Indian Village ancestors, telling the Ninth Circuit that tribal descendants presented a number of confusing and legally flawed allegations. The Jamul Indian Village of California is actively involved in the community through various organizations, events, and activities. The Jamul Indian Village Development Corporation (JIVDC) is a wholly-owned entity of our Tribe.
