Tribal Area Description
A federally recognized tribe in California, Quartz Valley is organized around tribal lands. The land base is relevant for broadband planning due to rural service coverage and middle-mile access constraints.
Our foundation is to embrace and protect Quartz Valley Indian Reservation’s sovereignty, while balancing economic growth with our cultural values. On behalf of our community, we welcome you to our website where we trust you will find the resources needed to learn more about our progressive Tribe and the measures we are taking to ensure a dynamic future for our up and coming generations. We continue to gather tribal elder knowledge to ensure our stories and history live on for eternity. As relatives of the land, we honor our ancestors, community members and future generations through spiritual wellness, gratitude, compassion and strength. We entrust our journey to our relatives who have come before us and those to follow. We connect to our cultural values by bridging the generational gap between our ancestors and our future.
