Tribal Area Description
Pojoaque is a federally recognized tribe in New Mexico with pueblo lands. The land base is relevant for broadband planning due to rural service coverage and middle-mile access constraints.
The Pueblo of Pojoaque is a community whose Native American culture dates back centuries. In Tewa, the Indigenous language of Pojoaque, our community is called “P’o-suwae-geh Owingeh,” meaning Water Drinking Place Village. Centrally located between Santa Fe, Taos & premier outdoor activities – Pojoaque is the perfect hub for your getaway. The Pueblo of Pojoaque is located just north of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Enjoy all the activities that the richly artistic Santa Fe and Northern New Mexico have to offer. The luxury resort is nestled among 587 acres of pristine land at the foot of the beautiful Sangre de Cristo Mountains and is a short 15-minute drive from the eclectic heart of historic Santa Fe, or a 60 minute drive to beautiful Taos.
